Artist Rates / Sliding Scale (Events & Other Projects)
Examples of Artist Run Events/ Projects:
Drag Shows, Workshops, Documenting the Creation of Art, Theatre Shows, Small Festivals, Art centered portrait sessions...etc.
These sliding scale sessions are artist-run event specific rates that allow performers/artists to choose - no questions asked - which rate they can afford via a sliding scale. These sessions were created with accessibility in mind for artists during this fluxing economy.
These sessions are NOT meant for larger company or big/medium brand event coverage. These sessions are meant for smaller creators/artists/small businesses. If you are a larger company looking for rates, I will refer you to my regular pricing for events.
If these packages are still inaccessible for you OR you are wanting as photography for a charity or fundraiser event, send me a message! I can usually work something out.
Scale A - $150 / hour or via donation*
All packages will have the same quality of work, regardless of the scale you choose. Each session will have at least 40 photos an hour depending the type of event/ project. Travel within the St. John's Metro area is always included.

Consider this option if you:
- Experience gender/race directed discrimination
- Have medical expenses not covered by insurance, and/or are trying to save for gender related medical expenses
- Are eligible for financial assistance or have limited financial support
- Are facing occupational discrimination due to your line of work
Scale B - $200 / hour
All packages will have the same quality of work, regardless of the scale you choose. Each session will have at least 40 photos an hour depending the type of event/ project. Travel within the St. John's Metro area is always included.
consider this option if you:
- Identify with different aspects of Scale A & B but a higher scaled session is inaccessible to you
Scale C - $250+ / hour
All packages will have the same quality of work, regardless of the scale you choose. Each session will have at least 40 photos an hour depending the type of event/ project. Travel within the St. John's Metro area is always included.
If you are able to pay it forward, and would like to pay more than Scale C, you are more than welcome to.
consider this option if you:
- Own your own house, or properties
- Have investments, inherited money, or easy access to funds
- Work part time by choice
- Have privilege related to family inheritance, gender identity, race or educational background
